My second piece for Bullett Magazine. To accompany this haunting dinner party in a castle, I combined harpsichord and strings from the baroque tradition with warmly organic electronic sounds. The middle section briefly exposes two fugues in different keys and tempos playing simultaneously. The exponential slowing of a wristwatch’s tick and subtle tape-speed shifts implies a flexible time in which significant moments can be stretched and expanded.
